To:  Gold Resource Corporation

        H.C. Wainwright & Co.

We understand that your company, Gold Resource Corporation of Denver, Colorado,  has purchased the assets of Aquila Resources, Toronto, Canada and that you plan to pursue the Back Forty project on the Michigan banks of the Menominee River.

The Coalition to SAVE the Menominee River, Inc. stands ready and able to challenge each one of the five necessary permit applications that will be submitted to EGLE of Michigan.

Our staff of environmental attorneys is prepared to defend the Menominee River from metallic sulfide mining.  Sulfide ore bodies will bleed Acid Mine Drainage when exposed to air and water, and we will not accept the resulting pollution of the Menominee River.

H.C. Wainwright & Co. should also inform your investors in good faith, that this investment is likely to be lost, just like the $120,000,000 that Aquila Resources lost on the Back Forty project.

You will witness many years of legal challenges, massive legal fees, and permitting delays as you pursue the Back Forty project.

There is already widespread public opposition to the project among the towns, cities, county, and tribal governments in Michigan, Wisconsin, and internationally.  Fourteen units of government, representing over 550,000 people, have ratified resolutions against the issuance of a mining permit by EGLE, due to their concerns over the threat to drinking water and human health from mining pollution.  This means that the project lacks a Social License to Operate, the number one risk to mining investment.
