Saturday, September 16, 2023 @ 9:00 AM
Menominee River Paddle,
Help River Alliance of Wisconsin celebrate our 30th anniversary by enjoying the rivers people have worked hard to protect and restore. On Saturday, September 16, we will paddle the Menominee River together and learn the history of this valuable and scenic gem. Your registration includes a guided paddle on the Menominee with river history and talks by area experts.
Menominee River paddle, plus an option to paddle as a group to the Coalition to SAVE the Menominee River Water Celebration
Our full group tour will meet at 9 a.m., launch at 10 a.m., and paddle the Menominee from Wausaukee to near Walsh, Wisconsin. The time on the water will be approximately two hours. You also have an option to join us at Hattie Street in Marinette to paddle as a group to join.
NOTE: No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
We welcome all paddlers! To pay what you can, choose the “everyone is welcome” ticket and you can pay an optional price that fits your budget in the additional contribution field. If you cannot rent a boat, let us know and we can secure a donated boat you can use.
By choosing the “individual ticket” trip price of $30, you’ll help us cover the costs of the event including a shuttle service and event insurance. Make an additional contribution to help our event welcome all paddlers, regardless of their financial resources.
